i am very excited to start with a fresh space for collecting my thoughts and ideas and projects. i am finally getting the hang of all of this html stuff!
right now i am all about organizing and weeding through my giant piles. yikes! we’re getting ready to replace some windows in the house, and then we will be moving into the front bedroom, so i have to make sure that i really root through everything, to make sure that i really feel like hauling it into the back bedroom. so far, it has been hard to let go. (actually, i haven’t been trying very hard to get rid of things…we’re picking up my old desk on sunday, and i know that i can use all of those drawers…)
meanwhile, i have received a couple of very inspiring packages in the mail. the first, from snap crafty, which i recommend you check out if you haven’t already:
the cuteness! i ordered a charm pack and the craftium patch, and i even got a free pin and tons of adorable fruit beads! they will make a perfect fruit salad necklace, or lots of cool earrings!
direct from kitty-craft – a nice pouch of fabrics!!! i am loving the french linens. perfect for litle projects, quilting, doll clothes…i can’t wait to decide what to do with it all.
this weekend i popped into the used book store, and found these treasures:
happy little family has the cutest illustrations ever, and i could not leave the large treasury there…the cover alone was worth the $5.
i’ve got to be heading out for work. i leave you with a fresh photo of my garden, and the newest residents of the yard. i think i will call them myrtle and steve.
