Here’s a look at our holiday cookies! I pretty much stuck to making one kind a day, which seemed to make things more manageable in terms of clean-up and preparation. It was a lot of fun baking with Olive. She made for a good apprentice, and was very generous with the sugar crystals…







The sugar cookies, all baked and ready to eat. Can you tell which ones Olive decorated?

Jam thumbprints. Half of them are filled with strawberry rhubarb, and the other half are filled with The Dark Knight, my homemade jam from this summer. It’s a mix of sour cherry and blueberry.

Ginger chocolate chip bars. So good!!! They came out really cakey.
I still have to make Adrian’s peanut butter kisses this afternoon. And then I am officially DONE! Tonight I am wrapping all of the gifts and getting everything ready to travel to my parents’ house tomorrow morning.
